1. Ensoniq Performance Series: Contains the factory content used to create the EPS (Ensoniq Performance Sampler), TS-10, and ASR sample libraries, plus a collection of sounds used to create new sounds for the EPS.
The sound libraries and sounds included all found in the EPS, TS-10, and ASR libraries, plus some additional sound design items and the PCM Wave series of sound fonts. The Ensoniq Performance series CDs provided a compact version of the sound design found in the EPS and TS-10 libraries, allowing the user to quickly and easily create their own sounds.
Ensoniq was a pioneer of CD-ROM technology, and I am very proud to be a part of this legacy. I have played and programmed with the EPS and TS-10 for most of my career, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to witness the birth of a new technology. The CD-ROM format will always be an important step in sound design history, providing a low-cost format for delivering sound libraries.
