Summerhall is a possible location for Dany's birth, as Summerhall was a fortified palace in Oldtown at the time of Aegon's Conquest. It was also the seat of the High Septon, the head of the Faith of the Seven, and the only place where Kings would be crowned, thus making it a logical place for the dragon eggs to be hidden.
Aberations in his childhood shape Aegon's life. He frequently burns things; he wrote with fire and is still bitter that his mother, Daenerys Targaryen, burned his dragon egg. He harbors an intense hatred towards his eldest brother Viserys for what happened to his other brother Daeron, as well as his other brothers and sisters. Later, Viserys, who is also obsessed with dragons and the potential of dragon eggs, would be forced into a similar obsession. While Daenerys was responsible for the tragedy at Summerhall, it is Viserys that would go to his grave trying to hatch as many of Aegon's dragon eggs as he could find. He would even attempt to hatch them in Dragonstone, where the eggs had been found. It was only after Aegon's dead that he would cease trying to hatch the eggs.
Aegon's fascination with dragons led to the creation of the Order of the Dragon, the first known attempt at a dragon-breeding cult. The order was dedicated to the god Quhill, the god of the serpent. It would become influential among the smallfolk who had come to worship the new religion. Believed to be supported by the priests of Quhill at the Summerhall, Quhill's faith became a powerful force in what would become the Faith Militant, the militant wing of the faith of Quhill. The revolt against the Faith Militant in the name of Quhill would eventually become the basis of House Targaryen's rebellion against the Iron Throne.
